Carslon Boucher (BCom 1st year) and Ongeziwe Damoyi (BCom 3rd year) were recently crowned Mr. and Miss Varsity College Pietermaritzburg 2015. This exciting and prestigious event was held at the Crowded House Nightclub in Pietermaritzburg.
Mr. and Miss Varsity College is a large event on the Varsity College social calendar, and is well supported by the students. The evening was MC’ed by Travis Hesom and Matty Needham while the contestants were judged by Janine Eloff, Vice Principal Marketing at Varsity College, Jono De Rosa, Manager of Crowded House Nightclub and Leandi Roos, a representative of Irenes Models. Lee Scheepers, Mr. Varsity College Pietermaritzburg 2014 crowned Carlson and Osiziwe.
Says Travis Hesom, Sport and Social Coordinator Varsity College Pietermaritzburg: “The evening, themed 007 and with an impressive list of sponsors, generous prizes, free giveaways and great entertainment, was enjoyed by everyone. The contestants stepped up to the plate in a challenging final, and we are confident that Carslon and Osiziwe will be great ambassadors for our campus.”
