PROJECT LIFE MAKING A MEANINGFUL CONTRIBUTION TO EDUCATION

Varsity College in partnership with Independent Newspapers are gearing up for the 2015 instalment of “Project Life”, a programme designed to support Grade 10 Life Orientation teachers as well as school counsellors.

The material developed for “project Life” has been developed in line with the Department of Education’s Grade 10 Life Orientation CAPS document. As there are many topics covered in the life Orientation syllabus, Varsity College has decided to focus on personal branding as well as diversity for this year’s edition.

2015 marks the third year since the projects inception. This year the lives of 6795 students and 147 teachers will be touched by “Project Life”.

Over and above the teaching support material provided to each participating school, learners will, during the next seven weeks, be able to read published articles on topics relevant to what is being taught in the classroom in Independent Newspapers publications.

“Varsity College is delighted to be able to make this meaningful contribution to the education of learners of the participating schools,” said Kevin Johnson, National Stakeholder Manager at Varsity College.
