Sometimes, it starts long before you take your pick of teaching colleges. If you already know that your passion is to teach, the chances are that you explored this option before you decided to study teaching. For many educators, starting young was a given. Whether it was teaching a younger sibling, their first friends or even a class full of teddy bears, it’s a passion that’s ignited early on in life. For others who needed a little more time to decide, the revelation is sometimes surprising. This is because some people choose careers that they think they ought to want based on status or salary expectations.
