If you were a part of the matric class of 2013 then today was a big day for you. Today was the day, as Matric results came out, you grew up just a little more and your dreams came a little closer.
As a precursor to the release of the results, on Monday, Minister Angie Motshekga announced that the Matric class of 2013 have achieved a 78.2% pass rate, a vast improvement on last year’s 73.9% pass rate. Looks like things are on the up and up.
Whether you were one of the lucky ones who rejoiced over all A’s, the solid B student or even a tad disappointed about one or two subjects, we just wanted to say: Well done.
A huge congratulations to all students who passed. You deserve a huge pat on the back. We wish you all the best for the future and remember; be sure to conquer your fears, reach for the stars and actualise your most outlandish hopes and dreams. The world is your oyster.
