HIGH TEA BENEFITS ANIMALS

Varsity College Sandton demonstrated the spirit of giving by hosting a fund raiser High Tea in aid of the SPCA Germiston, a non-government organisation which cares and gives shelter to abandoned animals. The black and white themed event was organised by the Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality (BBA Hospitality) students and featured a variety of dainty finger sandwiches, pastries, cakes as well as raffle prize draws.  Through tickets sales and raffle entries the event raised an amount of R4370 which was then donated to the SPCA Germiston.  Furthermore, students and staff donated R2300 worth of nutritious pet food and blankets for all the animals under the care of the SPCA Germiston.
