Youth for Christ, an amazing local NGO that works with youth at risk and with vulnerable communities, was the beneficiary of the recent ‘Winter Warmth Drive’ by the Varsity College Pietermaritzburg team.
Youth for Christ will distribute the blankets to those that most need it. Said Sonya Nursoo, the Student Relations Manager at Varsity College: “although a modest gesture, it is encouraging to see our team engaging in a socially responsible manner”. The Winter Warmth Drive is just one of many such initiatives undertaken by the Pietermaritzburg campus.
