Describe your daily duties:
I work for Froggie Creations, a service provider of corporate gifting products, promotional items, clothing and branding. Every day on the job is different. My main daily responsibilities include: meeting clients, collecting items from suppliers, developing quotes, product/market research and client canvassing.

Why did you choose the qualification you studied?
A Bachelor of Commerce degree is a great “all-rounder” qualification. It provides you with a sound foundation of business knowledge and it opens a variety of job opportunities in the market place.

Is your qualification relevant to your job? If so, did your studies adequately prepare you for your job?
Yes - my degree definitely helped teach me the basic theoretical (i.e. knowledge) and practical skills (i.e. time management, responsibility, punctuality) necessary to enter the working world.

What is your greatest career achievement to date?
I think it would probably be obtaining my current work position. I am a full-time staff member and no longer an intern.

What are your future career plans?
At this point in time, I’d just like to learn and grow as much as I can in my current position.

What advice would you give to students who are looking for or about to embark on their first job?
Internships are the way to go, they’re a great learning opportunity and they expose you to a variety skills and job positions within an industry.
